We’ve paired back this one and kept it chilli free to let the tomatillos shine. If you’re unacquainted with tomatillos, let me introduce you - they’re the more acidic, ancient ancestor of the beloved tomato. We started the pickling process by salting the tomatillos to draw out excess moisture to preserve that essential crunch. The flavours of the acidic tomatillo marry with our sweet banana capsicums, bitey onions and pungent garlic.

Tangy, fresh & crunchy - perfect topped over some flaky fish, cooked into an omelette or accompanying cheese.

Ingredients: tomatillos, brown onions, garlic, sweet banana capsicums, mustard seeds, ground mustard, salt, cracked pepper, coriander seeds, naturally fermented white vinegar, brown vinegar, nutmeg, raw sugar, celery seeds.

Storage: refrigerate after opening. Our ‘best before’ dates are written underneath the jars.
