Meeting somewhere between a pickle and a relish, these oddly cut little slices of spiky gherkins nestle amongst a thick, saucy brine that just sings with flavour. Deliberately garlic and onion free to suit those with sensitive tummies, while still maintaining a punchy, bold taste profile. Complexity and sweetness from the molasses balance with the slight bitter notes from the mustard. These pickles are phenomenal wedged thickly between a couple of generously buttered slices of fresh bread. Great tossed over a salad or roasted veg to add an extra something special. We’ve also used the leftover brine to marinate chicken skewers and pork spare ribs; both turned out superb.
