apple, tarragon & vanilla jelly. 250ml
Granny Smith apples lend the perfect tang and sweetness to this vegan jelly while our Mexican tarragon gives hints of liquorice that pair perfectly with vanilla (fair trade of course). Create a sweet tea by taking a teaspoon of this jelly and dissolving it in a mug of steaming hot water, try our cocktail (recipe below), dollop the jelly over pancakes, ice-cream, serve with sharp goats cheese, turkey & as the star in the centre of a sponge cake.
Simple Nonna’s Tears cocktail: 100ml boiled water, 1 heaped tablespoon of jelly dissolved, let it cool, add a shot of bourbon or rum & serve over ice. Can’t go wrong with a brown sugar rim and a clove or sprig of tarragon added.
Please note trapped oxygen and vanilla seeds may be present at the surface of the preserve - this is normal.
