A little about our new BBQ sauce flavour profile - you’ll notice a slight sweetness reminiscent of a classic barbecue sauce yet far from sickly, then hints of smokiness linger from our Manuka smoked beetroots with a pop of heat that’s brought in by the habaneros. Perfectly balanced depth of flavour from our various spices, all lifted and finished by the sharp tartness from the humble tomatillo (also known as an ancient Mexican tomato).

Use as the base of a chicken or bacon pizza, poured over a pork roast, toss through a salad, drench a classic burger with flavour, pair with a sharp cheese on a charcuterie board, or simply next to some crispy roast veggies.

Ingredients: Manuka smoked beetroot, naturally fermented brown vinegar, apple cider vinegar, smoked salt, nutmeg, smoked onion, brown sugar, garlic, celery seeds, all spice, citric acid, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, pepper, tomatillos.

Storage: shelf stable, although if you notice any effervescence it indicates that fermentation has started back up, not a problem - simply store in the fridge. Our 'best before' dates are written underneath the bottles.
