These unique looking fruits are known as West Indian gherkins - spiky, egg shaped, firm and tangy - they’re utterly perfect pickled in our go to salty & sour brine. We use tannins from foraged blackberry and fig leaves which aids in a natural crunch without the use of chemical firming agents that store bought pickles contain. With a good dose of habanero and aromatic spices - these pickled wedges are perfect straight from the jar, shoved into a burger or cut into thinner slices for a more subtle vibe. Best chilled before consuming.
(Heat: 1-2/5) - note that the slices of habaneros can range in heat from mild to very hot at this time of year, our apologies if you get a mild slice.

Ingredients: West Indian gherkins, garlic, habanero, wild blackberry or fig leaves, salt, rain water, white vinegar, herbs & spices.
Storage: refrigerate after opening (although we recommend before too for extra crunch).
